Holiday trips

Terasa nak berbahasa pulak kali ni. Sekarang tengah summer break for hubby and Adriana until mid August. We just came back from few holiday trips. Atlanta, visiting my sister in law and Florida tour with Amir and family.

We went to Atlanta for 5 days and it took approximately 4 hours journey to get there. In Atlanta, we stayed at Kak Fify's condo. We went to CNN world headquarters tour, the biggest aquarium in the world; Atlanta Aquarium, Atlanta Zoo, Coke Museum, Olympic Park, Fern Bach and North Georgia Premium Outlet. We were so lucky because the condo is in the middle of the metropolitan city, so near to the attraction centers. So, takdelah penat sangat traveling here n there to catch up thing.

Paling syok in Atlanta is about food. Sempat makan karipap pusing, maggi goreng etc at Kak Fify's house. We also went to Indonesian restaurant, Batavia and Malaysian cuisine, Penang restaurant. At Batavia, nasi campur style. hmmm... At Penang, we ordered laksa penang, nasi goreng ikan masin, satay, cendol. Hilang sekejap rindu kat Malaysian food. Yang paling tak boleh lupa is when we went to Kak Fazi's house. Nasi ayam, bandung soda, bubur pulut hitam, kuih

(tak ingat). Memang menjilat jari. Kalau ikutkan hati, nak je habiskan seperiuk nasi..... Siap dapat bekal cup cakes, bubur, daun pandan and bunga kantan. Thank you Kak Fazi, Abg Zaid and family for your first class hospitality.. We really appreciate it.

My Adam Hariz

Alhamdulillah... Adam Hariz, my third child and the only son was born on Sept 28 2010. He was born at Columbia Hospital by Dr Intan.

My first day in this world... 3.2 kg with 50cm height. cute, hairy, tanned lil boy exactly like ayah.

My first tooth at 3 month old and going to be my first tooth to tooth fairy...

My first roll over at 3 months old.. This is my favourite 'tilam' to rest.

Adam's first smile with his new teeth... I already have 6 teeth on my 6 month birthday!

My first solid food at 5 months 3 wks; rice porridge + salmon/ anchovy+ spinach+ fruit= Adam's meal and he has it three times a day without miss.

My evening walk with my family. 6 months with 9.5kg and 28".

"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about"\

6th month in Florida

Time flies...We have been here for 6 months, from Winter, Spring and now is Summer. And 6 months more to go before we (my hubby and I) go back to our routine hectic days. After spending my full time with family esp my growing kids here, sharing all the good, bad, precious moments with them, thinking of quitting my job and pay full attention to my family, especially my little ones. " You have a lifetime to work, but children are only young once"...

You only can see them grow once. I believe, in bringing up children, we need to spend on them half as much money and twice as much time. I feel a bit regret before due to pay too much attention to my career instead of my little princesses. Now I realize that they really need my presence, not my presents. Luckily, they stayed with their Wan and Atok who gave them full attentions and love.

Our must-go weekend activity, FLEA MARKET. I love it so much... There, you can find everything under the sky, just name it. I like most -their valuables collectibles, house decorations and kids' toys.

Our alumni Village safety campaign by Tallahassee Police Department. They give away free helmet for children, safety gadgets and road safety talk.

We threw small birthday party for Adriana's on May 14 2011 at our house. Invited neighbours and Adriana's friend.

KITCHENAID MIXER

Still thinking of buying kitchenaid mixer here. Compared to Malaysia the price is much different like RM2500 vs RM1800.
But, will I gonna use it later after spent thousands $$ for the cooking appliances... thinking n thinking....

ADRIANA SOFEA

My eldest lil' princess........ADRIANA SOFEA. 5 years n 9 months, a taurus sister. She's very sweet, independent, patience, shy, caring, loving, mature compare to her age and a bit reserve lil lady. She's very helpful in taking care of Aisyah and Adam.

My 1st ever day in school... And this is The Pineview Elementary School, Tallahassee, Florida.

• My class : kindergarden
• M class teacher: Ms Baker
• My ESOL teacher: Ms Chang
• My school hours: 8.30am- 2.50pm.

So, I have to wake up earlier compare to my previous days..... Adriana loves school very much and cant wait to go to school even during weekend. what a nice system & environment they have..:)

The first ulcer in the mouth due to bad weather. Miss a day to school to fever & bad mouth ulcer

Her new bike and first day in 2 wheels bike. And she managed to ride it on her very 1st day! Good job dear....

3rd month

In the blink of an eye, more than 2 months gone. Only few months left for me to spent my full time with my hubby, Adriana, Aisyah and Adam.. For these 62 days, so many new wonderful things happened & gave me new experience:

1. learn to take care and manage of the 2 lil' princesses and a lil' prince. Oppss.. and 1 big king in da house.

2. learn to cook for every single meal. Compulsory-Breakfast, Adriana's food, Lunch & Dinner. Most evenings, I served tea for the hungry folks...

3. In malaysia, most days, we ate either outside or in Seremban (mom's house). And weekend, either in Nilai (MIL' house) or outing. So here, I learn new recipes and apply my cooking skill... lucky the king and lil' princesses can eat anything under the sky.. hehehehe.......
